In terms of volume, imports and exports of goods hit new highs. From 24.4 trillion yuan in 2012 to 39.1 trillion yuan in 2021, an increment of 14.7 trillion yuan, 30 trillion yuan in 2018 and nearly 40 trillion yuan in 2021. The international market share increased from 10.4% in 2012 to 13.5% last year. China's position as the world's largest trading country in goods has been strengthened. The continuous growth of China's trade in goods in the past decade fully demonstrates that China is not only a "world factory", but also a "world market". It not only provides abundant commodities to the global market, but also provides countries with broader opportunities for the development of the Chinese market.

From a qualitative point of view, high-quality development of foreign trade continued to advance. Trade with countries along the Belt and Road has continued to deepen and smooth. China's regional layout and import and export mix have been further optimized, and new drivers of foreign trade development have been constantly stimulated. In the past decade, China's foreign trade has witnessed high-quality growth, the transformation and upgrading of "Made in China" to "Intelligent manufacturing in China", and China's foreign trade has become stronger in international competition and played a bigger role in driving the economy.
